Suzuki DF9.9B/DF15A/DF20A Lower Unit 50010-89830-YAY is a genuine Suzuki OEM complete lower unit assembly designed for select Suzuki four-stroke outboards. This configuration features a 15-inch S shaft and Pearl Nebular Black finish.

This current lower unit supersedes earlier assemblies used within the same engine family. Because exact fitment can vary by model year and serial number, I would not give the current 89830 assembly a hard year range. We know, for example, that it replaces the 50010-89827-YAY used on 2016-2021 applications, but that doesn't necessarily mean 2016-2021 represents the entire fitment range of the newer part.

The lower unit transfers engine power through the driveshaft and gearcase to the propeller. A complete assembly provides a replacement option when the existing gearcase housing or internal components are damaged or excessively worn.
