Application / Installation Notes

• X-shaft lower unit family; Suzuki bulletins commonly identify the X-shaft listing as DF90AX while the family is shared across the DF70A/80A/90A gearcase group.
• Lower units are not universal. Shaft length, rotation, paint color, engine family, model year, and serial-number range must match the original application.
• A complete lower unit is typically used when the gearcase housing, internal gears, shafts, bearings, seals, or impact damage make a full assembly replacement more practical than rebuilding individual components.
• Gear oil, water-pump service parts, propeller hardware, anodes, trim tab, mounting hardware, and installation supplies may need to be ordered separately depending on the installation and what is supplied with the assembly.

Important Compatibility Information: Suzuki lower units vary by engine model, model year, serial number, shaft length, rotation, paint color, and gearcase design.
