Genuine Suzuki internal protection anode designed to help protect your outboard from galvanic corrosion. These sacrificial anodes are installed within the engine and cooling system, where they help corrode in place of critical metal components exposed to freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater environments.

Routine anode inspection and replacement is an important part of outboard maintenance. Suzuki recommends inspecting anodes regularly and replacing them when significantly worn. When servicing anodes, be sure to inspect and replace the associated O-rings or gaskets as needed to help maintain a proper seal.
